The One Where She Skipped Two Years

Have you ever had an idea that you were so excited about that you started on and then never followed up? Well, hi, my name is Nicole and this will be my second attempt at blogging.

A lot has changed since I last wrote. I am now both a wife and a mother, looking for an outlet to review my days, keep my memories and sanity, and maybe even help some people going through similar situations!

Had I kept up my writing from my pilot post two years ago, you would have seen a variety of titles (assuming I kept my Friends theme going):

The One With I Do

The One With the Honeymoon

The Old New Job

The One With the Hammer (Tearing Down a Wall 101)

The Ones When She Wanted a Baby

The New Big House and Becoming a Landlord

The One With the (+) Test

The One With Two Shibas (Adopting Your Second Dog)

The One Where They Bought Another House (Yes, that makes 3)

The One With the Baby: Enter Asher Dean (Who doesn’t love to tell their birth story?)

The Ones About Boobies: Adventures of Breastfeeding/Pumping

The Sleep Deprivation Series

.. and that would basically catch you up to my life now. Wife to a hard-working, money savvy, loving man – the Joanna to my Chip Gaines (I’ve claimed the role of Chip due to my impulsiveness and sense of humor); mother to two doggos, (regretfully) one cat, and a chunky little replica of my husband, soon-to-be-six-month baby boy.

I’d like to back track and create some posts from above about how I got to where I am. I’d like to tell my stories of motherhood and wife-dom, along with my interests in DIY, housekeeping, and my original goal of writing about my journey with my husband in flipping houses.

So bear with me (and check out my cute little bear (; )as I try to get the hang of this on take two!

I am always open to constructive criticism and would love to hear what you’d like to be reading about in the comments below! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
